Tasteful & Exuberant Wedding by Caprichia, in Marbella

I presume that you have already had the chance to read the first post about this wedding, where I shared with you the details about its spectacular ceremony. If not, I encourage you to do so right now. Just click here

As a guest, wouldn’t it be overwhelming to arrive to the venue where the wedding will take place, and find this at the main entrance?

And this…

And this…

Well… this is how guests to this wedding were welcomed… and once checked-in, they could freely explore other areas were every corner had something to offer…

In fact, before heading on to the blessing area, guests were entertained at this site with a glass of champagne and some live music, surrounded by these hundreds of hydrangeas, orchids, delphiniums… filling up every corner in the most voluptuous -yet elegant- way.

And the best still had to arrive the next morning… when everyone woke up to find this at the main terrace…

Yes, you’re right… it is a huge butterfly made of purple vanda orchids! Just stunning, isn’t it? Now, look at the surprise underneath!

Just fall in love with this composition of crystals, candles, flowers and white & lilac candies and chocolates that we desinged… I have a dilemma to choose whether it looked nicer during the day or at night, when sparkling flames played shades on top of crystals…

It was difficult to move from the side of this console, but the cocktail area was waiting… Lighting played a main role and the centerpieces for the cocktail tables, the bar and the way up the stairs completed the scene…

On the way to the dining area, guests followed the path illuminated with chic lanterns and dozens of candles on the ground, hanging from the trees… they walked by a pool covered with floating centerpieces, and stepped on smelly rose petals here and there…

Dinner was waiting at these tables full of taste for details; hand-made napkin holders with orchids, fine tea light candle holders, mirrors as a base for the martini glasses with flowers…

… and the “floating moons”! Huge white balls flying in the sky offered the amount of light required at each moment…

Dinner went on with a non-stop program of entertainment on stage, full of color, singing and artists’ performances… What a party atmosphere!

Shhhhh…. partially hidden, an eight-floor tower with a top cake and 150 mini-cakes below was waiting for the right moment to be discovered… hundreds of butterflies again… but this time hand-made with lilac and violet sugar, were posed on top of individual tiny cakes to be served one per guest… just too pretty to the sight and to the taste!

Before I say bye for now and let you “digest” all this… I am closing the post with this nice photo while the sun was setting… This is the look offered by the head table… The petals and floating candles on the lake, the decoration of the table, the light balls around it… and the shade of the cake!

No, this is not a fairy tale… or is it???
