This superb foreign couple living in Dubai starts designing their dream wedding:
… in the South of Spain… at a venue where we can stay for a week with family and friends… in the middle of the nature… with a blessing ceremony at the ruins of a true castle… followed by a cocktail with stunning views… and a magic dinner reception and dance…

The couple got in contact with me and, even if none of them had ever been to Malaga before, and we didn’t get the chance to meet each other until the day before the wedding, I became their eyes, ears and hands over here and we worked together during nine intense months. I can now proudly tell that we made their dream come true in the heart of the province of Malaga!
The challenge was setting up their blessing ceremony on the top of a hill, stepping on the ruins of a true castle. And we did it! Everybody made their way up to this site surrounded by the former walls of an Arab castle and the spot was worth the walk!

Every detail was looked after with so much care and love… The ceremony programs, the pieces of music played by a cellist on site, the natural smelly dried confetti for the toss, the chairs and their decoration, the flower stands for the altar, the bride’s, maid of honor’s and bridesmaid’s bouquets and their umbrellas, the buttonholes for the gentlemen, the favors for guests, the hand-calligraphied stationery…
(Are you wondering how did it all look so “ceremony-like” even in such a rough location? Getting those logistics organized all the way there was CAPRICHIA’s work! ;o) Look at the confetti toss and find me celebrating from behind! ;o)

Once the ceremony and the photo session were over, guests were transported to the incredible venue where the cocktail and reception took place and this was another big “wow” of the evening…
Just the perfect music welcomed guests to an open terrace overlooking the mountains were they could enjoy a menu of personalized cocktails that the bride had designed for the occasion herself…

The dinner setup was the best kept secret until the moment arrived. A typical Andalusian patio was turned into a fairy tale dinning area with candles, hanging candleholders and that vintage/antique-look that could be felt through the silver and old gold palette of colors used for the table clothes and runners, the chairs and the flower centerpieces…
And once gain, details! Being in Spain, the couple decided to make a tribute to the most famous Spanish painters naming each of the tables with their names; Miró, Velázquez, Goya…!
Guests walked in right at sunset… -impossible to make it more romantic- and found their seats with the help of these fantastic escort cards, hanging from a mini bottle of wine, which served as favor souvenirs. On the same table, an album where guests could leave their messages for the bride and groom.
I am taking the best possible final words for this post from the kind testimonial that the groom wrote to me:
“It was an extraordinary wedding – we can’t stop looking at the photos. Our family and friends were also really swept away by the whole occasion. We really can’t thank you enough for giving us something that we’ll never forget.”
All I can say is… dreams DO come true, and I will never forget this wedding experience myself!
We have to thank the talented photographer Anna Gazda for having provided us with these incredible photos!
