Founder + Creative Director

Lucía’s journey into event design and planning began at just 10 years old when she organized her very first neighborhood party in Madrid. She poured her heart into every detail, unknowingly laying the foundation for what would later become CAPRICHIA.

With a master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from ICADE and a postgraduate diploma in Hospitality Management from Les Roches, Lucía’s career initially led her to work with multinational corporations. However, it was within the world of luxury hospitality that she truly found her calling. As the head of Sales & Events at a prestigious Westin resort, Lucía seamlessly combined her business acumen with her innate creativity and global perspective, honing a unique ability to deliver both sophisticated management and inspired, personalized experiences.

Her extensive travels across Europe eventually brought Lucía to Marbella more than 20 years ago, where she founded CAPRICHIA — a boutique agency that marries unparalleled event expertise with a deeply personal touch. Here, she infuses her signature style, one that elevates every event into a memorable experience, defined by elegance, surprise and thoughtful care.

Esti Urzay

Project Manager

Originally from Bilbao, Esti has called southern Spain home for over 15 years. A graduate in Tourism from Deusto, with a postgraduate diploma in Hospitality Management from Les Roches, Esti has been bringing unmatched project management expertise to CAPRICHIA for over 10 years. Her focus on the finer points, precision, and organizational brilliance elevate every aspect of our operations.

Esti’s impressive career spans diverse roles that have refined her multifaceted skill set. From her early days as an international airline stewardess, where she honed her customer service expertise, to her extensive experience in event direction across five-star resorts and as General Manager of a boutique hotel, Esti has proven herself in a variety of high-pressure environments. Additionally, her work in scouting and entertainment management for leading TV production companies further showcases her versatility and adaptability.
